VOLUNTARY CONVEYMENT OF A SAILBOAT (NO DIPLOMAS)

• Sailboat owned by a third party or leased by a third party.

• Absence of a contract of employment, including de facto, with the owner or another third party (salary, subordination, etc.).

• Absence of recall of the Chief of Crew (and the crew).

• Destination fixed in advance by the owner or the renter.

 

PROFESSIONAL CONVEYMENT OF A SAILBOAT (COMPULSORY DIPLOMAS)

• Sailboat owned by a third party or leased by a third party.

• Conveyance contract setting out the destination and established with the owner or a third party (organization, intermediary)
    Itself in contract with the owner.

• Remuneration of conveyance to the Chief of Flight (and / or crew)

 

CRUISE WITH CHEF (NO DIPLOMAS)

• Sailboat leased, loaned, or owned by the organization or association, or one or more of the members of the crew.

• Captain designates or not (the most competent being then considered captain).

• Free transportation of passengers (except on-board expenses shared by all members of the crew).

 

CRUISE WITH PROFESSIONAL CHEF (MANDATORY DIPLOMAS)

• Sailboat leased, loaned, or owned by the organization or association, or one or more of the members of the crew.

• Transport of paid passengers (participating or not participating in the maneuver and conducting the vessel).

• Destination or route announcement in advance.

 

VOLUNTARY TEACHING OF THE CRUISE (COMPULSORY DIPLOMAS)

• Sailboat rents, lends, or property of the organization or club (cruise school).

• No remuneration of the instructor (even if paying trainees).

• Identification of levels of practice.

• Teaching program announcement and destination based on participants' competencies, curriculum and
    Weather conditions.

 

COMPULSORY TEACHING OF THE CRUISE (COMPULSORY DIPLOMAS)

• Sailboat rents, lends, or property of the organization or club (cruise school).

• Identification of levels of practice.

• Teaching program announcement and destination fixed according to the skills, program and weather conditions encountered.

 

MARINE PROFESSIONAL (COMPULSORY DIPLOMAS)

• A person employed on his own account or on behalf of a shipowner, on a French vessel, to occupy a post on the march, control, maintenance or operation of the said vessel.

• Relates to fishing, sailing or commercial vessels.
